Days of Our Lives is bringing some heat this week. It’s been a few crazy weeks watching as Nicole and Deimos fight to figure out where they stand with one another, and it’s not going well for either of them. Nicole does not love Deimos. She wants so badly to become a mother to her daughter she will push him away without a second thought. If he wasn’t in her life to begin with, none of this would have happened. Her friend would have told her she was pregnant with Nicole and Daniel’s daughter, she would not have refused to give the girl to Nicole, and there certainly would not have been a giant custody battle. Now she’s a kidnapper and a wanted fugitive, and she’s blaming all of it on Deimos.
Deimos does not want to hear that Nicole has no plan to spend the rest of her life with him. When he finds out that Nicole is choosing to run away with Brady and the baby and not with him, he’s furious. She’s going to confront him about it, too. She’ll tell him this week that she and Brady share something she could never share with Deimos, and he won’t believe her. He will work so hard to remind her that they are a couple, that they’re getting married, and that they are one and the same with their feelings. It won’t end up working out well for her, though, since it’s not what he wants to hear.
Brady is hellbent on making sure that Nicole gets her own life with her daughter, even though it means he’s going to leave his son to provide that to her. Of course, Theresa taking off meant the boy has been with his own nanny ever since, and not with Brady. He’s not showing himself to be a very good parent in any sense, and Nicole choosing to allow him to help raise her child seems like less of a great idea. These two have some work ahead of them, but they are doing what they can to figure out how they are going to make things work.
