Days of Our Lives is going to take a massive turn when Marlena is reunited with Eric. They find one another on the farm, and all seems to be well following their reunion. They Eric is in hiding because he’s not sure he can face the people he grew up with. He was responsible for driving a vehicle under the influence and killing someone everyone loved. He changed so many lives with his poor decision, and he is horrified he was released from jail early. He hid out and didn’t let anyone know he was alive until he stumbled across Hope and knew he had to rescue her. Now that more people know Eric is no longer behind bars, it’s only a matter of time before he has a decision to make. When Marlena finds out he’s been released, she’s more than a little happy. That’s her baby, and she isn’t making it easy for him to say no.
Their reunion is an emotional one, and he has to make a decision about returning to Salem. Can he do it, and can he face the people he feels he hurt? He’s not sure he can forgive himself, let alone expect everyone else to forgive him in the process.
We also hear, and this is just a rumor right now, that in the coming weeks Chad and Gabi will be rescued and all is well. We know this must be true, because the rumor is Dario and Gabi are getting married. What!!?? It turns out that Dario’s immigration status is currently in question, so they’re going to get married and tell the world they are madly in love with one another and ready to spend the rest of their happily ever after together. Most people will realize it is what it is, and it might put them in danger with the law. As far as Chad is concerned, he’s not going to be very happy about it — but we bet Abby will be ready to throw a bridal shower and talk these two into having a baby the second she finds out they’re married. With Gabi married, perhaps she has a shot at making her own marriage work.
