Days of Our Lives: Eve and JJ Encounter One Another

Days of Our Lives fans aren’t sure things will turn out well at all for JJ and Eve when they have an unexpected encounter. Things will not go well when they run into one another. We do have to ask ourselves if there is a reason the writers decided this was the right way to go with their characters. For one, Eve is a little bit distracted with the fact that her boyfriend, but only kind of, was badly injured and cannot get his life together in the hospital. She’s torn whether or not she needs to marry him, and she’s mortified that any of this is happening in the first place.

Then there is the simple fact that JJ’s life is a total mess from start to finish. He’s been accused of purposefully injuring Abe’s son, he’s come out of a depression in which he wanted to take his own life only to realize that the woman he loved was pregnant. The idea of becoming a father was so much excitement in his life that finding out she actually cheated on him that that ‘his’ baby is actually Eli’s baby was too much for him.

And that’s not all. Now he’s going to encounter the woman he had an affair with off and on for so long while he was dating her daughter. Why? Why is this even remotely necessary in the storyline these days? Does this mean this story is going to go somewhere? We know that Theresa is coming back to town soon, and that might mean she need to have Brady all to herself. So maybe that will all go south when JJ and Eve run into one another.

Perhaps they will end up in bed together once they realize that they still connect. Perhaps there will be some chemistry between them and they will get back together, freeing up Brady to be with Theresa when she returns. We don’t know, but this is all plausible and potentially what might happen in the near future. We can’t predict it all, but we can predict some.
