Days of Our Lives fans are worried about Brady. He’s not doing well, and he’s not even focused on himself. He’s more worried about Nicole and baby Holly than he is fighting for his own life. He’s working from his hospital bed to save her life, and he’s got Eric on his side. We wonder, though, how Nicole will feel when it’s Eric who shows up to save her. We know he is the man who made her life change in a single instant, and she’s never forgiven him. He was, after all, the man who drove drunk and caused an accident that killed her fiancé, Daniel, and that he’s the man who is her biggest nightmare. Now he is the one who will go save her, but we don’t know if she will care. She might not care who saves her as long as she and her baby get to be together, but we don’t know. Perhaps this will be Eric’s way of saving her life and redeeming the fact that he took Daniel’s?
We know Brady will flatline just as Rafe shows up to arrest him, just after he gets Eric to promise he will do whatever it takes to bring Nicole home alive and well. We know he means what he says, and we don’t worry he can’t get it done. But we do worry that things might go wrong even more with Eric at the helm. He spent some time in prison, he’s not spent must time on his own doing things in the past, and he’s not someone entirely comfortable with being out in public now that he’s out. He feels the guilt for what he did and whose life he took that night, and he might let that cloud his best judgement in a situation like this.
More importantly, will Brady live? His heart will stop beating today, and we don’t know if he is going to live or die. We also think there isn’t a chance we will find out before the weekend arrives. We think it might be a few days before we find out for certain.
