I feel like it might be a little early in the year to declare a “father of the year” winner but this guy’s certainly got my vote so far. When you think about kids toys, do they really have to be so “kid like?” The honest answer is “not at all.” Think about it. A child is a child. If you really wanted to, as a parent you could shift their attention to basically whatever you wanted. You might think you have to play children’s music all the time but what if from day one your baby was listening to classic rock?
The same goes for toys, dolls, TV shows, anything. You don’t have to show them sweet cuddly bears. You could very well show them vicious, howling, slobbering wolves and they might not know the difference. I’m guessing that’s the mindset this father had when he decided that a simple toy car wasn’t necessary for his kids. Why not modify their cars to look like something out a post apocalyptic wasteland?
