Remember when people were nervous about how the Nintendo Switch would fare? In the last 48 hours that hype has gone from worry about the system to now worrying about people’s health because they haven’t stopped playing Zelda: Breath of the Wild. If you happen to be a Switch owner then there’s a very good chance you’re playing right now and not even attempting to read this. If you’re a Playstation owner, you too have something to be proud of. You have an ongoing streak of great console exclusive titles, including Horizon Zero Dawn, Uncharted 4, Nioh, Nier: Automata, and the upcoming Persona 5.
But then there are the XBox owners. That, my friends, is a different story. The system has been lagging behind Playstation since 2013 and the prospects for 2017’s XBox One are nothing special.
