Comic Book Characters With Dirtier Mouths than Deadpool

It’s hard to believe that the merc with a mouth does in fact say anything that’s non-offensive, but quite often it’s usually when he’s on a roll, meaning in battle, that his mouth really gets going. On his own he might entertain that 4th wall break monologue that fans have grown so used to, but his swearing is usually sporadic and like a rain cloud comes and goes. Those on this list on the other hand don’t have the random filter that Wade Wilson seems to ignore at times. Their mouths continually run whether they’re in battle or are just kicking around waiting for something to happen.

So believe it or not, these comic book folks actually swear a good deal more than Deadpool on an average day.

5. Wolverine

This one shouldn’t be surprising considering that Logan really doesn’t have much of a filter unless he finds it convenient for the moment. The language he’s been allowed to use in the movies has been quite tame compared to the comics mostly because they’ve been geared more towards kids. It wouldn’t do for the X-Man to be cussing up a blue streak when his younger fans are watching him with mouths agape and eyes wide.

4. Lobo

This guy has no filter at all but has learned how calm his temper down around the Justice League and several others mostly thanks to his writers. He’s about as crude as one can get and is actually fairly proud of it, but that’s his character. He’s one of the meanest guys in the entire DC roster and can fight Superman to a standstill. His mouth is probably one of the least offensive things on him, but it might be enough to shut Deadpool up for a moment.

3. Spawn

Spawn has a lot of reasons for having such a filthy mouth. Ever get a really good look at the guy? He wasn’t just betrayed by his employer, he was also sent to hell as a bargaining chip and made the commander of the Malebolge’s infernal army. Turning on his master however he took control of the necro-suit he wears and devoted his life to living among the homeless and becoming a dark, twisted hero of sorts. His life is little more than pain and loss, so it’s kind of understandable why he might have an attitude.

2. Negan

Fans of AMC The Walking Dead series are kind of torn about this guy. On one hand the actor portraying him is doing an awesome job. On the other, he doesn’t get to just cut loose and say whatever he wants like he does in the comics. If the writers were forced to get rid of every f-bomb and swear word Negan used they would probably half to eliminate at least half of his dialogue. Seriously, the guy swears like other people talk, and he makes it sound so natural that you might assume this was how he learned as a child.

1. Donald Duck

Ah the king of the cussing. Even if you can’t understand him or even tell what he’s saying half the time, Donald Duck is the original cartoon rager, and flies off the hook at the slightest provocation while swearing a blue streak across the screen. Some might say it doesn’t count because it’s non-intelligible, but in the cartoon world he no doubt has the filthiest mouth around when he really gets going.

You thought it couldn’t be done didn’t you? No one could beat out Deadpool when it came to profanity, but these five legendary characters are known for their level of profanity, and could even make Deadpool blush.
