Chicago Fire Preview: You’re Invited to the Fire/PD Wedding!

Chicago Fire

It’s been almost two years since beloved characters Randall “Mouch” McHolland from Chicago Fire and Sergeant Trudy Platt from Chicago PD got together.  The two searched for love their entire lives, and finally found it in the right place at the right time. Tonight the two will say “I Do” amongst their family of firefighters and cops at Molly’s. Or will they?

Mouch and Trudy first got together at Fire Battalion Chief Boden’s wedding in the Season 2 Finale of Chicago Fire. Before that they were both unlucky in love, but highly dedicated to their careers. Given the comeradery among the Chicago fire and police departments, Mouch and Trudy were a perfect match from the beginning. That’s not to say they haven’t had a few rough spots (the appearance of Mouch’s long-lost child via sperm donation comes to mind). And when the time came when Mouch felt ready to take the next step, Mouch’s proposal did not go over well, leaving Trudy to do the proposing. Mouch is sure that Trudy is the one for him, but that’s not to say he’s immune to the bumbling rantings of a man with cold feet. So will the merging of Fire and PD happen tonight, or will the groom’s nerves get the best of him?

“On The Warpath” – While responding to a call involving a victim incapacitated with a leg wound, Sylvie Brett (Kara Killmer) witnesses a murder and is threatened by the shooter not to go to the police. Unsure of what to do, she tries to track down Antonio (guest star Jon Seda) from Chicago PD. Elsewhere, Firehouse 51 jumps into action when a fire breaks out inside a restaurant, trapping several people inside a vault. Meanwhile, with his wedding day to Trudy (guest star Amy Morton) fast approaching, a nervous Mouch (Christian Stolte) starts to get cold feet.

Will Mouch and Trudy make it down the aisle?
