Summary: Josh Flagg shares his personal life, and Madison and Josh Altman’s disagreement gets personal. Here are this week’s 2-cent highlights from ‘Betrayal in the Real Estate Biz’:
– Pretty much, the story arcs this season goes something like this: Josh Altman sells monster mansions, Madison gets stuck with monstrous clients, and Josh Flagg eats monstrous amounts of food. This week, the story arc is bent slightly with Madison simply being stuck with a useless client and Flaggy just drinking coffee. That and plenty of plot development!
– Altman is forced to co-list a property with another alpha male, so he tries to chase the potential usurper away by offering him $25K to exit the partnership. That doesn’t work, so instead they try to work together. First, they embarrass themselves in front of Realtor Tony (who is basically an emo version of Chad Rogers) by interrupting and contradicting each other in conversation. (‘Rookie mistake,’snarls Alpha Altman.) Then they get a visit from Madison because, well, the property is listed in Malibu and Madison is ‘Malibu Ken.’Madison and Altman basically bare teeth at each other at this point because they’re fighting over the emancipation of Heather. It looks like Madison has lost this battle because Heather has been going on interviews with other real estate companies (which Altman helped set up).
– Flaggy catches Heather at an interview at his office. Apparently he tattles on her to Madison, which releases the Altman beast next episode.
– Flaggy is contemplating many things this episode. First, he debates how to best market his $4.5 million dollar unfinished property. To Grandmother Flagg’s penthouse upstairs he goes. Josh is wearing royal blue pajamas and Edith is wearing a fur coat while they sip on coffee and talk business. Those fancy Flaggs.
– The other thing Josh is contemplating is how to discuss this Colton character in his book. This season has built up to one big ‘who is Colton?’mystery, and we find out he is Josh’s boyfriend of 3 years. Yes, Josh Flagg is gay. He is very proud and enamored with Colton, as evidenced by his tweets of love. As Josh explained to San Diego Gay & Lesbian News, he always kept his personal life to himself, but was never in the closet.
What did you think of this episode? Do you buy Altman’s tough guy act? Did you guess Flaggy’s news? ‘Million Dollar Listing’airs Tuesdays at 9/8 CT.

Tony Barsocchini, realtor for Westside Estate Agency. Joe and Josh, not a total embarrassment. They spoke over each other, it was actually funny when it happened, all in good humor. It was tough to get a word in edge wise about the house, but good for them, the house is now pending. They did a good job negotiating the Buyer and the Seller. I'm not like Chad or emo. Thanks Tony
Thanks for the comment, Tony! But I like emo and Chad :)
