The Bold and the Beautiful story lines never seem to work out for Heather Tom’s character, Katie. She’s always the jilted sister, literally. Her sister, Brooke, always seems to find a way to take her man, ruin her life, and make her miserable. Yet they remain close, and we cannot figure that one out. We wonder if she’s about to find her forever happiness now that she is falling for Eric and his wife just so happens to be cheating on him with his own son. We think it’s time for her to find a forever happiness, especially considering where her heart has been broken in the past. That’s why we’re running down a timeline of her marriages, relationships, and her pasts hurts.
Rocco — when she was younger and had no self-esteem, her own mother talked her friend Rocco into dating her, and she fell hard for this boy. It turns out he had no feelings for his friend, but he did want to marry her sister Donna. It was rough for her.
Nick — He married her niece, Bridget, even though Katie was desperately in love with him and couldn’t stop herself. Then she had a baby with him, despite him being married to her niece — but she lost the baby.
Bill — she married him, had babies with him, divorced him, remarried him, and it’s been a serious issue. It all began when he tried to date Donna and that didn’t work. That’s when he and Katie got together. Then he has an affair with Steffy, who is actually now married to his son Liam, and they broke up. Then he decides to go back to Katie. Then he and Brooke get together, and they break up, and they get back together.
Ridge — When he finds out what happened with Brooke — his baby mama — and Bill, he and Katie bond. Katie tells him she will not be like her sister, and encourages him to marry Brooke.
That’s just the tip of the iceberg for Katie, and now she seems to be in the middle of a love triangle in which her sister is with both Ridge and Bill in a way, and Ridge is having an affair with Quinn, who is the wife of his father. Katie has decided she has feelings for Eric — and she’s going to get him eventually.
