The Bold and the Beautiful Spoilers: Hope’s In her Old Engagement Ring

The Bold and the Beautiful fans are watching as Hope and Steffy get into the biggest fight of their lives, and we can’t help but take Steffy’s side on this one. It’s hard to do that, though. She did sleep with his father. She did  get herself into this situation to begin with, but she also is a victim of another woman who came into her life and did this to her. Hope may not have intended for this to happen, but the moment she realized spending time with Liam was causing her to develop her old feelings for him, she should have gone out of her way to avoid him. She wanted this, and we all know it.

But the moment she was proposed to and managed to break out her old engagement ring was too much for everyone. We aren’t even sure why Liam didn’t take notice of the strange and suspicious nature of that one. And Steffy is furious. She’s not stupid. She’s also not bothering to put her anger and disdain out of her mind, either. She’s letting Steffy have it, and she’s standing there while Hope fires back with things that just don’t pertain to anything. She hasn’t a leg on which to stand.

Hope can tell Steffy that she doesn’t deserve Liam all she wants. She knew when she came home that Steffy cheated on Liam with his father and thought for a hot second that baby might be Bill’s — thankfully it was not — and she’s aware of what her stepsister did. But she also took Steffy’s side and spent months trying to convince Liam she thought that Steffy and Liam should try and work things out and make this happen for themselves.

And now she’s decided that Liam is too good for a cheating woman like Steffy. Now she’s changed her mind about how she feels, and we think this does little more than make her sound ridiculous. She’s playing too many games, and Steffy sees right through her and the problems she’s causing for everyone in her life.
