The Bold and the Beautiful fans would like to say we are shocked about what is going down right now, but we are not. We’ve been there, done that before. We’ve seen this more than once. A man or woman gets drunk, and someone else does what they can to make that person think they slept together and cheated on a spouse, everyone lies, and then things blow out of proportion in a way that will destroy their lives more than the truth would have in the moment. This is yet another one of those story lines. Drunk Ridge was led astray by Shauna when she came across him at the bar and he passed out. She pretended to help him out, took him to her place and let him pass out in her bed, where she let them wake up cuddled together. He was led to believe they slept together and that he willingly went home with her. He has no idea he didn’t willingly do anything and that nothing happened.
But, she told him it did. And now he is lying to himself and to his wife. He and Brooke have decided to try and work things out and make their marriage work, and Shauna has promised him she will say nothing to anyone about this in the meantime. They are keeping this little secret, which we know will not stay a secret unless Shauna gets all the things in life she wants to get. Also, let’s not forget that she told her daughter she’s got some feelings for Ridge now, and nothing will horrify Flo more than learning her mother is trying to make the Logan family/sisters even more upset than they already are. It’s horrible news for her to find out this news.

Things are going to be interesting when Wyatt decides to have some compassion for Flo. She is going to profess her love while she is looking for his forgiveness, and we cannot believe that she is trying to do this. For one, she rolled up into LA and took him from Sally when they were having a problem. She then kidnapped a baby and she lied about it, and that baby is his niece. She is a horrible young woman who really doesn’t seem to get that she doesn’t deserve his forgiveness, or his love. He will show her some compassion because he is a nice young man, but we don’t know that he can do anything else. At least, we hope he cannot do anything else. He’s going to end up with some very unhappy family members if he tries to make her a friend or decides to forgive her and let her back into his life after all of this.
There is nothing we want to see more than for Wyatt to tell Flo that she’s horrible. That she took a baby from people who did not deserve this so that she could make a few dollars, then she lied to all of their faces. She saw the pain and the hurt and the life changes and bad things happening as a domino effect from the lie she told and the situation she did, and that’s all there was to it. She is awful, and no one should be allowed to focus on anything other than that.
