On Friday’s Days of Our Lives, we learn that some people need to watch their back and stop focusing on ignoring things that are going on in their lives. Andre is so worried about his own vengeance that he is making it his life’s mission. When Chad finally appears to talk to him, he’s annoyed Andre has a broken arm. He listens as Andre tells him what he has uncovered and what he knows, and he doesn’t seem to care. In fact, he tells Andre he does not care that their father is dead and makes it a point to tell him that Stefano had so many enemies that it doesn’t surprise him in the least. Andre is obsessed, Chad doesn’t care and Chad tells him that he’s paying the taxes on the house so that it’s not foreclosed and that he is evicting Andre when he is the new owner. Naturally, this does not sit well with Andre. What might not sit well with him, either, is the fact that Chad goes immediately to Hope and tells her everything that his brother just shared with him. She’s nervous.
She decides she will wait for Andre to do something before she involves herself in whatever sick and twisted plan he has created for them. She’s scared, and she continues to deny her involvement in the murder to Chad, who seems to believe she is telling him the truth. We know she’s not, but she is not about to confess to the son of the man she murdered that she is the one responsible for taking his life. She shares her fears with Rafe when he arrives, and he tells her that she should not worry. When he leaves, he immediately finds Andre and tells him to stay out of Hope’s life.
Kate is enjoying lunch by herself when Deimos comes into the restaurant and wants to know if he can join her. She is not sure about him, and she is especially not sure of him now that she knows who he actually is. That’s when he takes the time to tell her that his brother set him up for murdering his soon-to-be sister-in-law and that he didn’t do it. He tells Kate that Victor did it himself and that he is looking to get him back for that. Then he offers her the money that she needs to buy out the business from Theresa and Nicole since she’s losing out to them, and she is not sure what to think. When Eduardo appears, he gets lost and Kate tells him how badly she needs that money. He doesn’t seem to care, tells her that everyone has secrets and that he has no intention of changing and gets up to go. She is left wondering what his problem is, and whether or not he will ever get over it.
Jenn, for example, has a problem and she has to deal with it. She takes her daughter and Theresa wedding dress shopping and she is too excited for her own good, especially considering the fact that she’s not thrilled that Abigail is marrying Chad. She tells her that she looks amazing and she is so excited that Theresa asks Abigail if her mother is actually on drugs. She knows she’s taking them because of the pain from her accident, but she doesn’t know if her mother is addicted or not. It looks like most of the area is beginning to suspect that she is, though. Theresa tells her she knows this kind of behavior and that if she wants to know if her mother has an issue with drugs, she needs to get her bottle of pills and start counting them on a regular basis so she can see how many her mother is taking.
Meanwhile, Theresa doesn’t know that while she’s dress shopping with Jenn and Abigail that Brady is off with Nicole, again. She’s already got suspicions about these two that make her uncomfortable and while nothing has happened between them, we all know it’s only a matter of time. Nicole calls Brady Daniel, and she claims it is by accident. However, we have to begin to wonder if she is not making things worse for Brady and his memories and dreams he believes belong to Daniel in the first place. Is Nicole trying to make it seem as if perhaps Brady is turning into Daniel? Would this be some kind of dream come true for her? When Chad comes home, he finds Abigail in her dress and tells her she’s gorgeous. She’s upset and annoyingly pouty before she becomes excited and they embrace. That’s when he tells her that he wants to go to Paris, and she seems unhappy.
