Add “Youtube Vlogger” To Will Smith’s Resume

You can add the title of YouTube Vlogger to Will Smith’s resume apparently. Maybe the 49-year old star figures that he’s done so much in his career at this point that he needs to take things in a different direction and try something new. Or it could be that as he ages his interests are starting to diversify and he wants to experience something that wasn’t as possible when he was younger. Keep in mind he was growing up in the 70’s and 80’s when the internet was still in the works and hadn’t yet become what it is now.

Now that he’s got the technology he seems up to trying his hand at vlogging and to be honest he seems a lot different on the vlog than he does in his films. There’s been so much said about Will Smith concerning what he’s like off screen, but in some cases he seems like kind of a jerk throughout his time spent in Sydney. It could be that he just has a strange sense of humor, after all he did buy his buddy another drone after he lost one and had been searching for it for the past couple hours. As far as his vlogging skills though he might be onto something.

If you didn’t know what vlogging was by now then you should know that it’s video logging. It’s almost like keeping a video diary of the things you do and what you say rather than just typing it down in a blog and letting people read it. This way people get to see what you’re doing and how you interact with the world around you. Will Smith is, like I mentioned, kind of hard to read at times since he seems a little offputting in his sense of humor, but then he shows that he’s still the fun-loving individual that people have always believed he is. Throughout much of his career he’s had an ego, and there’s nothing to be done about that. He’s a star, he’s been a megastar, and that seems to come with the territory at one point or another with some people. The thing is that he can usually back that ego up with some very unique acting and a stellar performance that people love.

But if you think about it, Will Smith hasn’t done a lot in the recent past. He’s got projects coming up if you do the research and take a look, but the only things he’s really done in the last few years haven’t been all that great, though he’s done his best as usual. Could it be that he’s trying to slow down? It doesn’t seem that the vlogging, which doesn’t take up a tremendous of time honestly, could be the reason that he’s slipped off the radar a time or two, but it still seems like he hasn’t been nearly as much of a presence in the mainstream as he used to be. At least he seems to be having fun with his new hobby.
