Adam Rayner has been acting on screen for nearly 20 years and his career is still moving upward. Since making his debut he has racked up more than 30 acting credits and he has shown that he’s capable of taking on almost any kind of role. 1. He Has Duel Citizenship

Adam was born and raised in England to an American mother and a British father which has given him citizenship in both countries. When he was younger, he and his siblings spoke with American accents which resulted in them being bullied in school. Over time, Adam learned to adopt a more British sounding accent.

2. He Studied At LAMDA

Adam has put in lots of hard work in order to build the career he has today. Part of that work included spending two years studying acting at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art. The school is well known all over the world and has produced several very successful actors including David Oyelowo and Tom Brooke.

3. He’s Not Into Social Media

There are people all over the world who love Adam’s work and would love to follow him on social media, but unfortunately for them social media isn’t really his thing. From what we can tell, he doesn’t have verified accounts on any social media platforms although there is an Instagram profile that claims to be his official page. That page, however, hasn’t posted since 2015.

4. He Has Theater Experience

Adam’s on screen work is what has made him famous all over the world, but like many other actors he also has experience on the stage as well. In the early days of his career he did a good amount of theater work. In most recent years, however, he has been solely focused on TV and film opportunities.

5. He Was In An Episode Of Doctor Who

Throughout his career, Adam has gotten the chance to work on some pretty successful projects. One of those projects is the popular British series, Doctor Who. Adam appeared in one episode of the show in 2010. When asked about his experience, Adam told Oh, “It haunts me, that one. It’s amazing how often people mention it. I still get Doctor Who fan mail. I think I get killed in the first five minutes, but it was a lot of fun. It’s a rites of passage these days, really. If you want to be any kind of actor in this country you’ve got to do a bit of Doctor Who. It was great.”

6. He Doesn’t Watch A Lot Of TV

Just because Adam spends a lot of his time in front of a camera doesn’t mean that he likes spending his free time in front of a screen. Adam doesn’t like to watch a lot of TV although he does watch on occasion because it’s essentially a part of his job. Instead, he prefers to watch movies.

7. He Got Somewhat Of A Later Start With Acting

Lots of professional actors have adorable stories about how they started acting before they were even old enough to talk. Adam’s journey is slightly different, however. Although he became interested in acting, he didn’t really think of it as a serious career option until he was in college.

8. He Has Some Dream Roles On His Bucket List

Every actor has at least one role that they would love to play some day, and Adam actually has a few. While talking to Interview Magazine Adam said, “I would love to play Benedick from Much Ado About Nothing. I’ve been in a very good production of that and the part was played by one of my very best friends, so it would be a little bit weird to do it because I’m so familiar with this guy and his performance, an actor called Joe Millson. But it’s a wonderful part that I’d love to play. And James Bond, obviously.”

9. He’s A Private Person

Being in the spotlight can be somewhat addicting for many celebrities, and they often find themselves blurring the lines between their professional lives and their personal lives. Adam has never had that problem, though. He’s always preferred to keep his personal business away from the spotlight.

10. He’s Been An Understudy For Some Big Names

When Adam was doing theater work he didn’t always have the biggest roles, but he got the chance to work with some of the biggest stars. His first paid acting opportunity was being an understudy for Matt Damon in a play. Adam was also an understudy for Val Kilmer.
