Abby Huntsman is a reporter and television host who was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, on May 1, 1986. She is best known as the general assignment reporter for Fox News Channel and as the co-host of Fox & Friends Weekend. She is also a former host of MSNBC. Although she is a well-known for her many appearance on television, there are probably many things that most people do not know about this woman. Here are ten interesting facts that you probably did not know about Abby Huntsman.

1. She is From a Big Family

Abby Huntsman is from a big family as she is one of seven children. Her mother is activist Mary Kaye Huntsman and her father is Jon Huntsman Jr., who is a businessman, politician, diplomat, and the current Ambassador of the United States to Russia.

2. Two of Her Siblings Are Adopted

Two of Abby Huntsman’s siblings are adopted. One sister, Gracie, is originally from China while another sister, Asha, is originally from India.

3. She Wanted to be On Broadway

As a child, Abby Huntsman dreamed of being on Broadway. She would lock herself into the bathroom to sing and her parents did not know what they could do about her. Eventually, they let her start auditioning for things. Huntsman performed in several production growing up. She is still passionate about performing to this day.

4. She Has Moved Lots of Times

Although she had a stable home life, Abby huntsman’s childhood was somewhat unsettled due to the number of times the family moved. Although she spent much of her childhood in Salt Lake City, Utah, she also lived in many international locations. These included Beijing, Singapore, and Taiwan. In total, her family moved 14 times while she was growing up. This meant that she also attended four different high schools during her teens.

5. She Was a Talented Tennis Player

As a teen, one of Abby Huntsman’s passions was tennis. In fact, she even won the state tennis championship twice while at high school. Unfortunately, this is not a talent that she has retained as she claims that she can barely hit a ball these days and no longer plays tennis in her free time.

6. It Took Four Attempts to Pass Her Driving Test

Although she is a very talented and successful woman, she is not good at everything. Huntsman failed her test three times before finally passing on her fourth attempt. She still avoids driving whenever possible to this day and is glad that she lives in New York City where people generally use public transport or walk. She would much rather take the subway or walk than drive any day. Even her husband tells people that she is a terrible driver.

7. She Has a Golden Retriever

Abby Huntsman loves animals and has a Golden Retriever that she considers a member of her family. She often posts pictures of herself with her dog on her social media accounts and has spoken about her love for her dog in interviews.

8. She Almost Ruined Her Dad’s Presidential Campaign

In 2012, Abby Huntsman’s dad, Jon Huntsman Jr,. ran for President of the United States. During his presidential campaign, Abby Huntsman and his sisters began recording goofy parody videos which they posted on Twitter using the handle @jon2012girls. They hit the headlines with their posts and their father’s campaign advisors were not happy. However, her father has since told her that their videos were some of the highlights of his presidential campaign as it was a time of extreme highs and lows for him.

9. She is Now a Parent

During her time at college when she was studying for a philosophy degree, Abby Huntsman met Jeffrey Bruce Livingston, who is now an investment analyst, and the couple began dating. The couple married on August 28, 2010. In June 2017, they announced they were expecting their first child together. Their daughter, Isabel Grace Livingston, was born on November 29, 2017.

10. She Left the Mormon Church

Abby Huntsman was raised as a member of The Church of the Latter-day Saints. However, she decided to leave the Mormon church because of her beliefs about women’s rights and LGBT issues, which are not sympathetic to the beliefs and practices of the Mormon Church.
