Although she was an underrated star on the show, the personalities she took on made her stand out. She is related to Michael Gross-the American film and tv actor known for Burt Gummer and the sitcom Family Ties.
Acting runs in the family, and Gross went on to work on other projects after her time on SNL that showcased her talents and acting range.
