Dominique Provost-Chalkley is an English actress. For most people, she should be most familiar to them because of her role as Waverly Earp on the Canadian-American show called Wynonna Earp, which is something that has brought her a fair amount of positive recognition from LGBT viewers. 1. She Was Born in Bristol
Provost-Chalkley was born in Bristol, which is one of the biggest cities in South West England as well as the rest of the United Kingdom. In earlier centuries, Bristol was even more important than it is now. However, it winded up being surpassed by cities such as Manchester and Liverpool because of the transformative effects of the Industrial Revolution.
2. She Is Half-French Canadian
As stated earlier, Provost-Chalkley is an English actress. However, it is interesting to note that one of her parents is French-Canadian, meaning that she is half-French Canadian as well. Generally speaking, when people say French-Canadian, they think of the Canadian province of Quebec. However, while Quebec has the highest concentrations of French speakers in Canada, there are others situated throughout the rest of the country. With that said, considering that Provost-Chalkley has family in Montreal, it seems probable that side of her family does indeed come from Quebec rather than some other part of Canada.

Perhaps unsurprisingly, Provost-Chalkley has a pretty strong background in the arts. For example, she started learning how to dance when she was still at the age of four. Likewise, while she trained as an actress at Laine Theatre Arts, she trained as a singer at said institution as well.

Speaking of which, it is worth mentioning that Laine Theatre Arts is a school situated in the English town of Epsom that prepares its students for a career in the performing arts. The institution is named thus because it was founded by a professional dancer turned dance teacher named Betty Laine, whose accomplishments have seen her awarded the Order of the British Empire.
5. Became an Understudy for Dirty Dancing
One of Provost-Chalkley’s first roles saw her serving as an understudy for Dirty Dancing, which was a theatrical adaptation of the hit movie. Said production was situated in the West End, referring to one of the two theatre scenes that make up the highest level of commercial theatre in the English-speaking world. Of course, the other would be Broadway in the United States.
6. Was in Avengers: Age of Ultron
So far, the single most famous project that Provost-Chalkley has ever been in would be Avengers: Age of Ultron. However, her role was very minor. For those who are curious, Provost-Chalkley played the part of Zrinka, the older sister of the boy named Costel who was saved from Ultron by the efforts of Hawkeye and Quicksilver. Something that resulted in Quicksilver’s death from multiple gunshot wounds.
7. Interested in the 1920s
When asked about a previous decade that she would have liked to live in, one of the two answers that Provost-Chalkley provided was the 1920s. In part, this was because of the dancing. However, it seems that she is interested in the clothing as well as the rest of the look for the period as well.
8. Interested in the 1960s
The other answer was the 1960s. In that case, the answer seems to have been motivated by her admiration for the beliefs of the hippie movement. Moreover, Provost-Chalkley stated that said period was when Motown hit its height, which is important because she is a huge fan of Motown music.
9. Carries Snacks in Her Purse
Amusingly, Provost-Chalkley makes a habit of carrying snacks such as nuts and tangerines in her purse so that she has something on hand when she feels hungry. Apparently, it is a habit that was passed on to her by her mother.
10. Loved Roald Dahl Books
As a child, Provost-Chalkley loved Roald Dahl’s books, which makes sense because he is still regarded as one of the best English children’s novelists. For those who are unfamiliar with them, Dahl’s books are famous for their dark sense of humor as well as their very unsentimental nature.
