‘Game of Thrones’ has never ceased to amaze us, always keeping fans and audiences on the edge of their seat for the many years that it has been on the air. The series has gained so much popularity that fans all over the world show their tribute in many different forms, including spoofs and gimmicks on social media. The comic strip that was created, obviously, is playing on the also very popular fantasy series that took the world by storm several years ago, ‘The Lord of the Rings’ franchise. However, the comic takes a turn for the funny by stating what many don’t often think about, and that is that medieval technology and medical care was subpar at best. After completing a book about the wars had in the lands, Sam decides to entitle the book “Lord of the Rings” because so many of the individuals living during that time get ringworm. Gross, but hilarious all the same.
It is really so funny to see all of these spoofs and comedic jabs at such popular and demanding series that have taken the entertainment industry by storm, such as that of ‘Game of Thrones’. However, with the series about to reach its end, it almost seems more as a tribute to an era, and one that is cherished by fans all over the world.
