At high school, Megyn Price dated Edward Cotner, who is now an ER physician. The couple parted ways and she went on to marry television show creator Bill Lawrence, but they later divorced. When she was reunited with Cotner, the couple married. She has given him the nickname Steady Eddie.
2. Acting Was Not Her First Career Choice
Although Megyn Price had acted in an amateur capacity throughout her childhood and teens, she did not initially try to pursue a career in the entertainment industry. She studied for a degree in economics and communication at Stanford University before working as an investment banker for a year. She realized that this was not the right career path for her and decided to become an actress.

Between 1998 and 1999, Megyn Price played the series regular Gale Ingersoll in ‘LateLine’. She appeared in 17 episodes of this sitcom. She has since said that it was her favorite job in her whole career. This NBC series was canceled and was aired for the last time on March 16, 1999. Price was so upset that the series had come to an end that she briefly considered leaving the acting industry and pursuing another career. However, she got over the loss of the role and landed the part of Claudia Finnerty in ‘Grounded for Life’ just two years later.
