Michael thinks that things are working out with regards to a movie that he’s invested a great deal of time in, but he’s about to find out that things aren’t going the way he would like them to go. In addition, he ends up having to get Buster out of some serious trouble. All the while, emotional issues of the past are being brought up, something that nobody really wants to deal with, but will have to in order to move forward.
2. Arrested Development Season 5 Episode 8 – “Premature Independence’
You already know that things are just a little bit different in the world of the Bluth family, so it shouldn’t surprise you that these people don’t have a traditional Fourth of July celebration. Instead, they have one that celebrates the second of July. As strange as it is, this seems to be entirely normal for these individuals. Sally and Lindsay are locked in a campaign against each other, and things are starting to get heated. As you might have guessed, the entire Bluth family is constantly stumbling over one another, lying to people and then not being able to remember who told which lie to whom. You know, it’s just the standard day to day stuff for the Bluths.
3. Arrested Development Season 5 Episode 1 – “Family Leave”
This marked the very beginning for season five of the show as it airs on Netflix. This particular episode is all about Sudden Valley and a lot of surprises, many of them unwanted. It seems like no one is really happy, and the never-ending surprises only serve to make the situation worse for all involved, especially Michael.
4. Arrested Development Season 5 Episode 3 – “Everyone Gets Atrophy”
With an episode title like this, you no that the show is going to be an interesting one, even in the world of the Bluth family where everything is already a little to the left of strange to begin with. George-Michael and Maeby are up to no good, and they’re not even able to keep all their misadventures a secret for very long. That’s not all. The entire Bluth family seems to be supportive of Lindsay in her campaign efforts, but Michael isn’t so sure. In fact, he doesn’t think he really has any reason to support her, something that puts him at odds with the rest of the family.
5. Arrested development Season 5 Episode 2 – “Self-Deportation”
The problems never seems to stop for some of these people. In this episode, Michael tries desperately to get Buster to admit to the things he has done and let the cards fall where they may. His attempt isn’t going so well, but it doesn’t stop him from trying. While he’s busy with that, just about everybody else in the family takes off and heads to Mexico. The weird thing is that they don’t even do this all at one time, or even as a family. They just all wind up there, doing their own thing.
