Do you remember the Gargoyles animated series? If you do, you’re part of a rather large number of individuals who are big fans of the series. However, there is an entire younger generation out there that never saw it and many have never even heard of it. As such, one of the most dedicated fans of the animated series decided to make a live-action video about Gargoyles.
This is really nothing new, especially when you consider the enormous amount of fanfiction that is available in various locations on the internet these days. However, it takes a lot of skill and talent, not to mention more than your fair share of patience, to create a live-action video that’s as good as this one. It really does capture the essence of the Gargoyles animated series in a way that few other things would be able to do.
The video was done for a couple of different reasons. Part of it was to pay homage to the animated series itself. However, there is a bigger purpose behind it all. That purpose involves getting more people interested in the original animated series as well as creating a genuine interest in this video itself. Who knows, there might be an entirely new Gargoyles series that eventually comes from this effort. One thing is certain, the quality is definitely there. Now the goal is to get that video out there, to as many people as possible, thereby creating an opportunity for more and more people to see it.
The animated series was from Disney. It’s not entirely out of the realm of possibility that they would choose to make another show similar to the original. In addition, there are plenty of people out there that might decide to make a series or even a movie based off of this live action video, and maybe even create a new franchise out of the whole thing. Hollywood is definitely in the mood to revisit things of the past that were previously successful, so it’s entirely possible that this could fall into the same category.
