Five Things You Didn’t Know about Fely Irvine

There is and there isn’t a lot to say about Fely Irvine since the singer and actor has a career but it’s hard to pin down since there’s not much there to speak of. What is highlighted is that she’s a great singer and has a lot of energy that she taps into so easily to deliver the kind of vocals that have wowed the normally tough judges of The Voice and American Idol. What isn’t there is much else concerning her personal life and the kind of information that could tell where she came from.

Considering that she’s been active since 2009 that could mean she leads a private life or she hasn’t done much.

5. She’s half-Filipina and half-Scottish.

That’s quite the combination really when you think about it but people are people and are going to get together no matter where they’re from if they have an attraction. It does kind of beg the question as to how the families of her parents felt about the union and if they fully accepted it. Whether they did or not doesn’t really matter, it’s just and idle bit of curiosity that seems somewhat pertinent.

4. She was a contestant on The Voice.

Despite having already performed in a band she went on The Voice and managed to wow the judges since her voice was so on point and her use of the lyrics was absolutely amazing. There’s no doubt that she’s able to command the attention of a crowd and can keep it with minimal effort. But the idea that she’s a superstar still seems to be a little far off since she hasn’t yet become really known. That could change eventually though.

3. She was in the band Hi-5.

This was a kids group formed in Australia in 1998. Their fame rose for a while and then kind of diminished after a bit since they were very popular in Australia but had trouble holding their own against the rest of the worldwide industry. Irvine performed in the group from 2009 to 2011. She was one of the ‘new generation’ stars that took over from those that had become just a little too old to keep performing in the group or had moved on.

2. She was a contestant on American Idol.

She amazed the judges on the panel of this show as well, bringing her voice to the show that supposedly started it all in a way. Idol obviously wasn’t the first venue that allowed singers to showcase their talent but it was the one that sparked the current trend of singing shows that have made so many people into stars in recent years.

1. She was in the show Home and Away.

This show is one of the most popular in Australia and the UK and has dealt with its share of controversies in it’s time. To date it has won a great number of awards and is still going. No doubt this would be a great spot for anyone to get noticed and possibly start a career.

She’s got a good thing going, it’s just that it doesn’t seem to be that well-known yet.
