Some folks are serious Potter fans and it’s an interesting thing to see. This teacher for instance has spent so much of his time decorating his classroom to resemble Hogwarts that the entire thing is nothing short of magical. What was once a boring classroom is now a place where kids can study and be awed by the displays that have come to life around them.
I think I can recall that red brick material from grade school. It was never used in this fashion however. It’s as though you step from the Muggle world into the wizarding world as soon as you hit the doorway.
Inside you might find that acceptance letter you’ve been missing in the mail and a lot more.
The effect is made almost complete as a good portion of the Harry Potter cast is in attendance thanks to Funko Pop!.
Instead of banks of computers you’ll find old fashioned books and watchful statues that create a rather old style ambiance.
The many gadgets and old fashioned quills and ink are a nice touch to the decor and give the room a much more authentic feel.
The cost of props and other materials had to be considerable for this teacher, but obviously he had a lot of fun in the doing.
Even the sorting hat has made an appearance. One can only hope that it will be accurate and fair in its assignment of houses.
This could possibly allow the teacher to avoid becoming scatterbrained by granting them the ability to store memories when needed.
The level of detail that this teacher went to is amazing. I kind of wonder he bought all this stuff or had a good deal of it at home.
The device even lights up and gives a more delightful look to the teacher’s office it would seem. He’s definitely pulling out all the stops.
In a world where electricity is seemingly used sparingly if at all it pays to have plenty of light sources, which he has in abundance.
And that was just the office. The classroom lies beyond, and has its own charming look as well.
Obviously the classroom will remain a little more technologically advanced but the decorations are still a nice touch. One can only hope the students appreciate them.
This is most definitely unlike any other classroom and carries a very unique look that students can hopefully get into.
If you notice, the seats are even arranged by their color scheme. But where’s Slytherin?
This is a man that most definitely loves the Harry Potter franchise, and it would appear that he’s a big fan of Newt Scamander as well.
Some of these items seem like they’d be easy to find at a thrift store or other location, while a few items might need to be specially sought after.
At the end of the day though this is a very impressive transformation for the classroom and is something that I would hope that many kids would enjoy or at least find whimsical.
