Days of Our Lives fans know that Steve is doing everything he can to keep his wife safe and figure out what is going on in her life. Someone set her up at the hospital. He knows this more than he knows anything in life, and there is simply no question about it. He’s been working so hard on what he perceives to be the threat against his wife, the one against his sister, and he’s been working to form a relationship with his “new” son, Tripp. But that’s all about to fall apart as he realizes that his new son isn’t the person he thought he was.
We’ve been watching for moths as Tripp tries to figure out who really killed his mother, Ava. We all know, of course, it was Joey and Steve took the blame for his son. But Tripp does not know that. He knows Steve is lying about doing it, but he thinks he is lying for Kayla, someone Tripp was actually kind of close with when he first appeared. He’s been setting her up, and that’s been a problem.
Now Steve is beginning to see what’s happening, and we know he will get it out of Tripp before much longer. How will he do it? We don’t really know, but we do know there is a chance they will end up doing all they can to figure it out. And we do know there is a chance that things will get a lot worse before they get any better.
