One show that has definitely found its audience is Little Women of Atlanta, and one person who has absolutely no problem making her presence felt, is Ashley “Minnie” Ross.

1. She Still Has Not Adjusted to Seeing Herself on The Screen
In many of the reality shows the stars are either famous or the wives of someone famous. So they are used to being in the spotlight at some level. However, Ashley is new to the game, and while she handles the press like a seasoned pro, she has not gotten used to seeing herself on the small screen. She said that while it is amazing, it still feels pretty weird.
2. She Never Second Guessed the Decision to Be On the Show
While many reality show stars will say that they really wrestled with the idea of opening their life up to the world. Minnie said that the moment the opportunity appeared she just ran with it. She also says that while there is a lot of conflict and arguments on the show, she really loves the girls that she works with. She sees them as family, and what family do you know that does not argue and have disagreements. You cannot spend that much time around someone and not have disagreements.
3. She Credits Her Mother for Raising her to Be Prepared as a Little Person
Ashley said that she gives an exceptional amount of credit to her mother for rearing her in the best way she knew how. There was not a great deal of data and information on little people during the time Ashley was growing up, so her mother had to simply use her instinct in preparing her for life. Ashley has used the training that her mother gave her growing up to meet the challenges that she has had to face as a little person.
4. She Sees Purpose in Her Size
One of the things that Ashley’s mother instilled in her growing up, is that her life has purpose. She was told consistently that the fact that she came into the world as a little purpose means that she will use her size to have an impact on the world around her. There is something about the sense of purpose that motivates and inspires people, and it has definitely inspired Ashley.
5. She Actually Knew Monie Cashette Before the Show
Ashley refers to her cast member Monie as her best client and her best friend. She actually met Monie before being signed to do the show. She says they met at the hair salon. She said that Monie loved the way that she did her hair, and the two immediately hit it off. Ashley said that Monie has a good vibe, and now they are good friends.
