Monie is not shy about letting people know how she feels; she is not one to hold back on expressing what is on her mind; however, we are certain that there are some things that you didn’t know about this fiery little lady. It has become evident that a person has to possess a certain type of personality to be successful on reality TV. When it comes to Monie Cashette, there will be some who absolutely love, and there will be others who can’t stand her, but whatever side of the fence you rest on, you have to admit that she is literally built for Reality TV.

1. Monie is Not Her Real Name
While you may have guessed that Monie is not her real name, you probably didn’t know what her real name is. Her real name is Tiffany. It is not clear why Tiffany chose to pass on using her real name in lieu of using Monie, but to each their own.
2. She Is a True Southern Bell
While that term is not normally associated with people of African American descent, we are going to take the liberty to apply it here. No, Monie is not from Atlanta; she hails from Texas, and while Texas is rarely associated with Alabama, Mississippi and Louisiana when people refer to the deep south, it is definitely a part of the South. The people from Texas have a southern accent, the cooking is definitely of a southern variety, and the hospitality is second to none, so Monie is from the south.
3. She Could Be a Jersey Wife
When you think of Southern Belles, you don’t think of women who would throw a cocktail on another woman. In that sense, Monie is more likely to fit in as a Jersey Housewife – possessing a Northeast mentality and attitude. Anyone expecting Monie to politely walk away from a confrontation will be in for a rude awakening. She does not back down from anyone. As a matter of fact, she is constantly moving forward to face all challenges.
4. She Is The Tallest of The Cast
While the show is supposed to be about little women, Monie Cashette is considerably taller than the rest of the cast on the show. Whether she is wearing shoes or not, the height difference shows. She still qualifies as a little woman, but she is taller than the others on the show. She is actually 4’6” tall.
5. She Is Committed to Her Christian Faith
Although it does not always show in her language and behavior, Monie is a practicing Christian who is highly committed to her faith. She consistently steals away for moments of prayer, giving thanks to Jesus, and consistently fighting to get right with what is expected of her by her faith. While her behavior leaves a little to be desired for most Christians, all would agree that her habit of praying is commendable.
