Things take a turn for the worse when the game goes south, and Will finds himself owing $500 after Charlie reveals himself to be a hustler. Unable to pay up, Will confesses to Charlie that he doesn’t have the cash, prompting Charlie to demand the Benz as collateral. Desperate, Will heads home to get the money, but his secret is soon discovered by Uncle Phil, who insists on accompanying him back to the pool hall to retrieve the cash.
At the pool hall, Charlie tempts Phil into a game, during which Phil quickly demonstrates his apparent lack of knowledge about pool. He loses the game, but Charlie offers another round at $100 a ball. To everyone’s surprise, Phil accepts and suddenly reveals himself as a seasoned pro, effortlessly defeating the hustler.
