General Hospital fans have seen Jax come and go, but it seems he’s here to stay this time. Things aren’t good for Sonny and his wife Carly, and Carly is looking to end their marriage and move on. And it seems she’s not moving all that far. It looks to us like she’s just going to move right back into some familiar territory. She’s going back to Jax, and it looks like things are heating up quickly between the two of them. This week, we will see these two slip right back into the same intimacy they shared when they were together so long ago — and it comes right on the heels of Sonny learning he did not, in fact, sleep with Nelle and cheat on his wife. Does this mean that this old couple will end up back together, or does it mean that she’s just in need of a familiar face and a little comfort?
We don’t know what it means. But we do know that there is a good chance Jax is here to stay for the time being. We know that many people are hoping Carly and Sonny will get their stuff together and make their marriage work, but it turns out this is not going to happen. In fact, the show is casting a love interest for Sonny whose name will be Martina. There is no word yet on who has been hired to play the role of an attorney who will capture his attention, but it does appear that with the hiring of an actress to play Sonny’s love interest that there will be no reunion in the making for Sonny and Carly.
Who might it be that he falls for in the courtroom? What exactly is he doing in the courthouse to find a love interest in an attorney he happens to see walking by? It turns out we believe he will be in the courthouse finalizing his own divorce from Carly when he meets a woman he cannot stop thinking about. And it means the end of Sonny and Carly as we know them. For now. Things change.
