It’s hard to believe that Jeopardy’s been on the air since 1964 but it’s true. It’s just as hard to realize that Alex Trebek has been the host since 1978. Technically there was a hiatus but Trebek returned in 1984 and hasn’t stopped hosting since. During Trebek’s run as Jeopardy host we’ve seen countless moments from both Trebek himself and contestants that made us all do a double take.
Trebek’s had his fair share of controversial comments and some of the gaffes by contestants haven been borderline hilarious. It seems the older Alex Trebek gets the less he cares. It’s as if he’s a teacher who just got tenure and knows that he’ll never get fired so he can say whatever he wants without consequence. I mean think about it. You think this guy is getting taken off the air? There’s just no way.
Anyway, in honor of one of the longest running game shows I figured every once in a while I’d share a Jeopardy moment worth remembering. Today’s moment belongs to a contestant when the subject was this: If Andy yearns for Brenda and and Brenda cares about Charlene who pines for Andy, the 3 of them form one of these:
