The only movie that ever came out documenting the life of J.K. Rowling was in 2011 and it’s called Magic Beyond the Words: The J.K. Rowling Story. It’s an inspiring look at JK Rowling’s rise to become one of the most influential writers-from her humble beginnings as an imaginative young girl and awkward teenager to the loss of her mother and the genesis of the Harry Potter phenomenon. However, don’t you think it’s time for a feature film? While the TV movie was decent I have a very simple proposition here. Get a solid director, have Emma Thompson star as J.K. Rowling, and call it a day.
Anyway, in addition to my request for a J.K. Rowling movie I wanted to bring up J.K. Rowling on Twitter. While she’s known for picking apart trolls and starting beef with prominent figures she doesn’t like, J.K. Rowling had a very soft spot on Mother’s Day in the UK when she tweeted out some beautiful messages. On Sunday, the Harry Potter author marked Mother’s Day in the UK by sharing a photo of herself as a little girl with her mother, Anne, and her sister. It’s very hard not to like J.K. Rowling after reading these.

Learning to live with the absence is very hard. It will get easier, I promise. Hugs back to you x
