When you have tons of money not only does it put you in a position of power, but it gives you an enormous amount of options that many people don’t have. Rather than simply experiencing something and then moving onto the next thing, you can actually buy said experiences if the price is right. So instead of just visiting a tropical island that hasn’t been claimed yet, if you have the funds, you can actually purchase the island and keep it for yourself.

Eddie Murphy owns his own island in the Bahamas and most celebrities are very familiar with Richard Branson’s Necker Island which he often rents out to the rich and famous. The list goes on. But there’s one island you may not have heard of owned by another former celebrity, Marlon Brando.
