The Alien: Covenant hype has been pretty awesome up until now and I personally think it’s going to get even better. It began practically a year ago but started to heat up when the first group picture was released and we found out that James Franco was in the cast. I’m personally psyched that Danny McBride is in this movie. I think he’ll be the best character. Anyway, next up we saw an awesome Ridley Scott directed prologue to the film. And what was going around the internet yesterday? A pretty sick movie poster that featured nothing but an egg that gave everyone the chills.
That all leads up to what we’re seeing now which is an official trailer for the film. With a tagline “The path to paradise begins in hell” we know we’re going to get some vintage Ridley Scott here. What begins as a nice, touching moment with lovely music quickly turns as the crew of the Covenant realizes they’re going to get a hell of a lot more than they bargained for.
Anyone else completely freaked out already? The Xenomorph is just flat out gruesome.
