While the WWE might be scripted that doesn’t mean you can’t or shouldn’t get emotional at some of the moments their shows produce. Like a movie or TV show, the WWE creates enough drama to drum up emotions that can get the tears flowing. While wrestling has its share of tough moments out of the ring, today I wanted to focus on actual in the ring moments that made us cry. I’m talking about inside the actual ring, before, during and after the fight type moments. So this would exclude emotional tribute videos or honoring someone’s career. These don’t include horrific incidents or the day after 9/11.
Like I said this is strictly in the ring moments. Here we go:
Hulk Hogan winning the belt from Iron Sheik
When I was a little kid I’ll never forget seeing Hulk Hogan give that final leg slam to take the belt away from the Iron Sheik and begin what would become a multi billion dollar franchise. This match was the one that started it all.
When Hulk Hogan Slammed Andre the Giant in Wrestlemania III
You can’t tell me when that moment finally came that you weren’t bawling like a little girl. I know I was.
Wrestlemania 24 Ric Flair’s Career on the Line
Even Ric Flair was crying here. That Shawn Michaels kick to the neck still gives me chills to this day.

How could you not cry here? It was so sweet!
When The Ultimate Warrior Dethroned Hulk Hogan
This is when Hogan essentially passed the torch to the Ultimate Warrior and the two united in the ring. It was sad to see Hogan lose but it was a great moment of sportsmanship.
