House of Cards has seen a hugely expanding fanbase over the past few seasons, being beamed into everyone’s homes directly via Netflix’s unmatched distribution mechanism. As such, the show has spawned legions of fans who are dedicated enough to do things like make fan art based on the series. Even though House of Cards is largely a lot of people wearing suits glaring at each other, there’s still plenty to draw it seems, even if it’s not quite Game of Thrones from a style perspective. – by barelt1 I’ve tried to go through and find the most interesting examples of fan art based on the House of Cards cast out there, and I’ve come back with both some amazing pieces, and some rather hilarious ones. I’m featuring both in equal measure. I don’t think you need ultra-realism to make for good fan art, but you should at least try to make it so your final product looks at least remotely like the character. Check out the gallery below.

I actually love this caricature of Christina, despite its relative lack of reality. It’s got her features down perfectly, including those enormous, inescapable eyes. Well done! I only wish the show hadn’t simply forgotten about her.
