Three Channels You Need for NBA All-Star Weekend and How to Stream Them

When it comes to All-Star games, the NBA is about as good as it gets. Not only is the actual game competitive (unlike the Pro-Bowl), but there’s a whole weekend of festivities leading up to the event. This makes for a fun three days of NBA.

If you’re looking to stream NBA All-Star Weekend (which kicks off at 10:30 ET this Friday), you’ll need three channels. Luckily, there are multiple ways to stream each.

NBA TV Events and Live Stream Info

NBA TV will host the following events: (all times ET)

Friday, February 17

10:30 a.m.  BBVA Compass Rising Stars Challenge Practice
12 p.m.  All-Star media availability

Saturday, February 18
12 p.m.  NBA All-Star Practice
2:30 p.m. ET NBA D-League All-Star Game presented by Kumho Tire
7 p.m.  Commissioner Adam Silver media availability

Sunday, February 19
11 a.m.  NBA Legends Brunch

Up until recently, NBA TV was only available through cable and satellite providers. However, those days are long gone. Now there are four ways to stream NBA TV: Sling TV, DIRECTV NOW, PlayStation Vue, and fuboTV. Each service offers various tiers of skinny bundles for a modest monthly price. Each has a free 7-day trial.

Which should you choose? Depends. Sling TV is the cheapest. Vue and fuboTV have DVRs. DIRECTV NOW offers a more cable-like experience. Whichever you opt for, they’re free for a week, so you can watch NBA TV all weekend without incurring any cost.

Events on TNT and How to Watch

TNT is the most important, as it’s hosting the actual All-Star game. Here’s a complete look at events and times:

8 p.m. Estate Farm All-Star Saturday Night –  Taco Bell Skills Challenge, JBL Three-Point Contest, and Verizon Slam Dunk

Sunday, Feb. 19

TNT is available on Sling TV, PlayStation Vue, and DIRECTV NOW. TNT also will be airing the game free on its website.

However you choose to watch, the options are many. It’s a great weekend to be an NBA fan!
