If there’s any clan with a firm target affixed to them it’s the Jenner/Kardashian clan since their antics and their continued popularity with so many tends to put them in the spotlight no matter what people try to say about them. Kendall Jenner is one of the few that seems to enjoy the fame but doesn’t quite stack up to the rest in terms of controversy and putting herself on the public opinion block to be lambasted every other day. While she is a part of the family obviously she’s only ever had a few moments of media coverage that have been increasingly negative compared to the rest of her family. Where a lot of people tend to either idolize or become quite vocal and negative concerning the Jenner/Kardashian clan it does pay to step back and just observe and report on what’s there, not what you feel.
Here are a few things that some folks might not have known about her.
10. She’s now part of the Instagirl era.
To be honest she’s been a part of this era for a while now. What this is quite honestly is an era in which those that are online the most tend to become the most famous. In other words if you spend more and more time on your PC or other device your fame tends to go up. And in truth there aren’t a lot of people that are on social media more than the Kardashian’s and Jenner’s.
9. There are just too many siblings to keep track of in the Jenner/Kardashian clan.
Thanks to the two marriages that her mother Kris went through Kendall has a rather big family and while she’s one of the eldest of the bunch she’s also not quite the most famous despite being one of the top models in the country.
8. She dropped out of high school to be homeschooled due to her modeling career.
This was all due to her modeling career as it was easier on her schedule and allowed her to move around with a lot more freedom. She graduated in 2014 and has been modeling and building her business savvy ever since.
7. Initially she was a supporting member in Keeping Up With The Kardashians.
It seems odd to think that being a part of the family she was only a supporting member of the show, but if you follow even a quarter of the news and the show itself you might find that she’s not the most prominent member of the family when it comes to being able to drum up one controversy after another.
6. She and her sister collaborated on a novel with a ghostwriter at one point, and even made a sequel.
It seems anytime you see that someone has collaborated with a ghostwriter there is going to be the assumption that they might have contributed, but the ghostwriter did the lion’s share of the work and those that contributed saw the most profits. This isn’t known for certain however but it still begs the question of how much she and her sister actually contributed.
5. In 2017 she was heavily criticized for the Pepsi ad she was featured in.
There was quite a bit of controversy to be had with this ad since Black Lives Matter jumped on it almost immediately saying the ad was undermining their movement. It also wasn’t the best idea considering how protests throughout the nation have been going lately. Plus, while Pepsi pulled the ad and actually apologized to Kendall she had the opportunity to approve it or not. So make of that what you will.
4. Apparently she’s been the victim of bullying.
One one hand it’s very easy to sympathize with anyone that’s been bullied since it’s not a positive experience. On the other hand, considering all that the Jenner/Kardashian family has plastered over the news when it comes to their family it’s kind of hard to feel sorry for any of them.
3. She’s made it known that she doesn’t like to discuss her love life in public.
This is something you don’t often hear from anyone in this family since a lot of them are quite open and seem to broadcast what they’re doing to many people. It’s actually refreshing when someone doesn’t want to put their intimate information in the news.
2. Kendall has managed to win a handful of awards in her time so far.
From modeling to the TV appearances she’s made Kendall has been nominated for a lot of awards and has won a good amount of them. Even those that are well off get to win awards since they too are trying to stay in the public eye.
1. She’s also been featured in a fair number of music videos.
This doesn’t come as much of a shock since the family she comes from are well known in the media and are pretty well-involved in a lot of different projects.
Say what you want about the family, a lot of people have. They are still human though and deserve to be treated like it.
