The American designer, from Washington, has won four times for the films ‘Chicago’, Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them’, ‘Alice in Wonderland’, and ‘Memoirs of a Geisha Girl’. She has also won three BAFTA Awards and an Emmy Award. In 2017, she was the costume designer for ‘The Tick’. 3. Sandy Powell

Sandy Powell is a British costume designer from London who began her career in 1986 with the film ‘Caravaggio’. In 2011, she was appointed an Officer of the Order of the British Empire (OBE). 5. Michael Wilkinson

Michael Wilkinson is a costume designer from Sydney, Australia, who first began his career in 1994. The first feature film for which he designed the costumes was the 1997 movie ‘True Love and Chaos’. His work on the 2013 film ‘American Hustle’ was recognized with a nomination for an Academy Award for Best Costume Design. Other films on which he has worked include ‘The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn- Parts 1 and 2′, ‘Man of Steel’, and ‘Hustle’.
