There are some things people might not know about Yvonne Strahovski, like how to properly pronounce her name, and some things they might, like how gorgeous she was in Chuck. She’s not a newcomer to the movie or TV scene considering that she’s been around since 2004, but unless you’ve seen her then she might still be something of a new face. There are simply too many TV shows out there at the moment to really know who everyone is, and way too many movies to be able to watch everything and identify every last face. Be reasonable, do you know everyone out there? But the more you watch the more you learn about people, as in who they are, what they’ve done, and where you’ve seen them before.
Yvonne has done quite a bit with her career to be honest and she should be recognizable by a lot of people since she’s been in a couple of shows at least that were big hits on TV. Her movies haven’t been anything too special but it’s still the fact that she’s reached that level that makes her worth noticing. After all with as many actors as there are in Hollywood these days there’s no telling just how hard it is to get noticed, let alone famous. But Yvonne seems to be doing alright. 10. She’s a supporter of PETA.
She’s shown up in their ads promoting ‘adopt don’t buy’. The meaning of this is pretty simple. Instead of paying hundreds of dollars for a pet that comes from a purebred line or some such, take the time to look through your local pound or humane society, as there’s usually a few animals that are in desperate need of a home and have a lot of love to give.

9. She’s been ranked on multiple lists as one of the world’s hottest women over the years.
From FHM to Maxim she’s been highly noted for her physical beauty and labeled as one of the hottest women in the world without question. It seems like she’s never ranked incredibly high on these lists but to even be there is something special.
8. She starred in Dexter.
For all you Dexter fans out there, and there a lot I understand, it’s easy to think that you might have recognized her right off the bat as Hannah. She was after all pretty important at one point in the story.
7. She was in the film Killer Elite with Jason Statham.
Sadly this film was kind of forgettable even though it featured Jason Statham, Robert De Niro, and Clive Owen, but it was still an action-packed thrill ride from start to finish. Maybe it was the typical Statham stereotype that saw him as a lone individual that had a troubled past and therefore tried to remain alone as a bonafide butt-kicker. He seems to do this a lot, which could be why we don’t see as much of him any longer.
6. Her acting lessons started at age 12.
She started out pretty early but it seems to have paid off since she’s pretty good at what she does.
5. She had a huge cult following from Chuck.
She actually auditioned for this show at the same time as a couple of others. Someone managed to notice her and decided that she was just right for this show. Most people would consider this show to be the reason Yvonne has had such a great career until now.
4. She also had a part in The Guilt Trip.
It’d be kind of awkward to welcome your high school ex into your home, but it would only be made worse when your husband decided to act like a bit of an arrogant, possessive jerk when referring to you and trying to make your marriage look like the best thing that had ever happened to you.
3. She’s expecting her first child eventually.
Yvonne announced in May that she and her husband were expecting their first child eventually. You can just imagine at this point how much baby advice they’re getting and how much the anticipation is building. Chances are she’s not going to know what hit her when the kid finally gets here, just like so many other parents that were certain that they were going to be ready. As many of us parents know, there is no such thing.
2. She has a role in the upcoming movie The Predator.
The movie is set to come out this year and is looking like it will be a return trip to the awesomeness that the franchise was built upon. Of course given that the last few Predator movies have flopped so horribly it’s better to remain just a bit reserved in this matter so as not to be too disappointed. But the Predator should hopefully deliver in a big way.
1. She married her longtime boyfriend of 6 years in private.
Some folks don’t like the big, drawn out wedding and just want to speak their vows in peace. Maybe that was the case here.
So far it seems like she’s got her career and life together.
