Young and the Restless fans just aren’t that surprised to know that Lily can’t help but bond with baby Sam. She’s not happy that her husband had a baby with another woman and lied to her about his affair and all that, but she’s managed to bond very well with this little baby, and she’s loving it. The baby has been through so much being born prematurely when his mother died on the operating table. He’s not been in great health, and things were not looking good for him.
But he’s survived his surgery, and now Lily can’t help but have feelings for this small baby her husband brought into the world with another woman. It’s hard not to fall in love with a newborn baby who is going through so much, but we believe this might work for them. She’s been there for him, she gave him her blood, and she’s there.
Is there a chance that this might be the beginning of their reconciliation? Could she take back her husband and take over the role of mother to this little baby now that his own mother is dead and she’s falling so much in love with the baby? Can Cane really change his ways and be the person he needs to be for his family? There are so many unknowns here, but we think there is a chance for him to make the right decision here. Could it be something we’ve all been waiting for so long?
