Young and the Restless fans know that Juliet wants Cane. So far, things aren’t working out for her. He still wants to be with Lily, even though she told him she wants to divorce him. She cannot imagine forgiving him for cheating on her even though he did that for her when she cheated on him a few years ago. He reminds her of this, of course, and she reminds him that she cheated but there wasn’t a constant reminder of it in his face when it happened. She didn’t get pregnant and bring a baby into their lives that doesn’t belong to him.
That is the difference here. She can’t forgive him because he got Juliet pregnant and she’ll remember his cheating all the time when the baby is born and she’s forced to see it all the time. But now that Juliet is in the middle of a miscarriage situation, that might change. She’s desperate to keep her baby alive, but it’s too late. And once Cane and Lily find out, there is a good chance she might decide to work on their marriage.
Juliet wants nothing less than Cane to go back to her, so we have a feeling she might do something very desperate. For one, we think she will do whatever it takes to keep him from finding out the baby is no longer with her, but we don’t know how she will keep this charade up when she’s not growing or ever giving birth. We shall see, however.
