Young and the Restless fans are shocked to hear that Cane is confessing to Lilly. His entire life has been upside down and crazy for months now trying to hide the fact that he slept with Juliet from his wife. It’s been such an insane and crazy time in his own life, and he’s been unable to get things happening as he has been so consumed with keeping this from her. He played an elaborate game to get what he wanted by putting Juliet in the line of fire, and he hoped that would rid him of his problem.
But now that she’s suing him and the company for sexual harassment after what happened, he’s got no choice. We said it before; the best way for him to get out of his was to admit what he did wrong when he did it wrong. He didn’t, and now he is going to pay the ultimate price as he finds a way to tell his wife what he did.
Lilly is not happy about this, and she’s not taking it well. We think she’s not taking it as well as she would have had he confessed right away. The fact that he’s been lying about it and covering it up and lying to her for months now might make it even worse. But, of course, we don’t know if he will tell her the whole truth, part of the truth, or a little bit of the truth. It’s a lot for him to take in right now, and she’s not making things any easier on him.
