Young and the Restless fans know that Reed has some issues with his mother. Billy, his former dad of the step variety, really bonded with him at one point and was able to help him make some headway with his mother. However, it’s JT who is his real father. And now JT is dead, and Reed wants to know where his father is. Victoria obviously cannot tell him that his father is dead and she is one of the people who is covering it all up, so she’s not going to mention that situation.
Naturally, of course, this rebellious teen is going to do what he can to blame his mother for his father leaving. This, of course, is coming from the kid who ran way from JT and Mac a few years ago to live with his mother because he didn’t want to be with his father anymore. And now he’s all upset and blaming her because he can’t be with his father anymore.
This is not a child who knows what he wants. He is also not a child who seems to know how to live his life. He’s filled with issues and upset, and we don’t think that she can do much more than just stand around and hope he does not run off and try to find his father thinking he merely left town. And that’s probably part of the reason she’s going to feel so much guilt about all that happened and all they had to deal with.
