Young and the Restless fans have a strong suspicion Juliet has changed her tune. She clearly did something to set up Cane and get him to sleep with her, but we’ve changed our minds about why she did this. She doesn’t want money or anything else from him. She wants him. She’s in love with the man she once worked for, and spending the night with him was her way of seeing if she could further their relationship. She knew he was married to Lilly, but she thought she might be able to end their marriage.
What she didn’t realize is that suing him was not the answer. Now his marriage is all but over, and he lost his job. She’s got feelings for him, but how can he have feelings for her in return when she’s ruined his life? The problem right now is she has a hope that they might be able to work things out. Perhaps he needs nothing more than a few weeks to accept that his life is over as he knows it, and that might prompt him to want to build a new one with her.
We really think she’s hoping his marriage will end and he’ll realize he is in love with her. Perhaps she feels they will get married and run off and raise their baby together? She has no idea he will never forgive her for what happened that night. She’s not going to get a daddy for her baby out of this. She’s going to get a lot of hate.
