Young and the Restless fans are still holding out hope that Lilly might decide she’d like to take her husband back and be with him after all this. She wasn’t happy to work on things after he cheated on her even though he did that exact thing a few years back when she cheated on him. He stood with her, he stood by her side, and he worked hard to overcome his upset and anger. But like she pointed out, she didn’t have a baby with another man. That other man had no reason to ever be a part of their lives after that, and it’s easier to forgive when there is not a constant daily reminder of it.
But now Juliet is gone. Will that matter to her even though there is a baby that belongs to another woman? This baby is sick. He is motherless, and he is dying. And he needs to fight. He might be a constant reminder to her that her husband cheated on her, but will she ultimately decide she can be this young boy’s mother and work things out with her husband?
We aren’t entirely certain she can do this. We aren’t sure she can handle what is going on in their lives, what is happening with them, or what is going to happen in the future. Is there a chance it might work for them? Sure, there is a chance. But that doesn’t mean it will happen or that we should get our hopes up.
