Young and the Restless fans know that Hilary has decided she wants her ex-husband back for herself, and that’s part of the reason she is so happy that Mariah decided to become a lesbian and leave him — even if he is completely unaware that this is what is going on in his own life. We are sure happy that there are things like this going on to keep the show interesting, but it’s really watching Hilary do all kinds of nice things for Devon that is going to make us happy.
She’s pretending to be the nicest person in the world to win him back. Part of the reason their marriage didn’t work before is that she is selfish and horrible to other people, and he didn’t see the softer side he thought she had. She was so unkind and unhappy with him, and now she’s trying to show him this is not the person that she is.
It is exactly the person that she is, but she’s working this game hard and it’s looking good for her. That means she’s going to have a chance to spend some time with him in the next week or so trying to be a good person, and he’s going to fall for all of it. That means she’s going to win him back even though he was just asking Mariah if he could do anything to get her back in his life. It’s going to be more than a little interesting to watch this train wreck unfold.
