Young and the Restless fans are still shocked at the entire situation with Nikki. Her life is in the line, and she’s not sure she will live. No one is sure she will live, and the world is turning into one of those places that seems dangerous and scary, and no one knows how to fix that or what to do to make it better. The boys are a wreck, and they are working so hard to cover their tracks and make it seem that they did nothing wrong even though they hit her. It was a total accident, but one of them doesn’t have a license and the other was drinking. While they made the safest decision to let the non-licensed driver take over so the drunk didn’t have to, it did not end well for them, which is bad news for everyone. We cannot predict how this will end or what it will mean for everyone else, but we are just sitting here wondering how they will get over this and what they will do.
Victor had her kidnapped, Victoria wants to confess, and everyone is a mess. There’s nothing that will make this situation seem any better, but we do hope that they can make sure things go as planned for many people and their lives. And this might be one of those days that we get to see things unfold in a way that we didn’t think we’d see them unfold before. We can only hope that this will cause them some serious moments of thinking, but we don’t know that we can get these people to make better decisions in the future. This is a week that might just make us all think twice and cause us all to wonder if we can change anything about it.

Well, we certainly don’t agree with that considering their ugly history and not-so-happy marriage, but we do appreciate where they are trying to go with this one. We also appreciate that they are trying to have a moment of happiness when she’s so unsure of her future.

The last day of the year is here, and Reed is going to tell his mother what he did. And she’s going to be very upset. Not that he did this, but that he is the kind of kid who did what she did, which is lie, cover it up, and live with the guilt. She’s been looking for a chance to confess, too, especially since Rey arrested her father for the death of JT, and she knows that he did not do it. And there nothing hurting her more than the realization that her own son is just like her. She is crushed and confused and upset and not making many good choices, but she’s also going to make a big change in her own life. She may not like it, but she will find that things are going to work for her in some way if she allows them to do that.
But for now, we are going to sit back and wonder if there is a chance this will change. She’s going to want to confess, but will she? And Devon is throwing a party for the new year, but there is drama. And that is of no great surprise to us. This is one of those things that doesn’t make much sense in any way other than the way that we are living right now, but he’s got to get his life in order — and that is not working for him at the moment. Can he make some positive changes?
