Young and the Restless fans say this time and time again. This cast feels like the biggest cast ever in the history of television. There are always a million people to see and watch on a daily basis, and it’s almost hard to keep up. There are so many characters it’s hard to remember all of them, even when some are main players. But, we love so many of them so much. It’s hard for us to figure out why we don’t love them all like they are the best of the best, but they are not. Some of them are just as boring, down, and dirty as the others, but we cannot get on board with them. Here are our least favorite characters on the show in the history of our remembrance. Abby
Okay, okay; we get it. She’s great, but she’s kind of boring. She’s always the left out kid. She’s the victim. She’s the baby of a family who doesn’t really want her to be part of their family, and she is always quick to make some poor choices and then wonder why she’s in trouble while also wondering who is going to help her out and make her stop feeling like she’s always left out. She cannot figure out why she is such a mess and why she can’t get her family to respect her, but she’s never one to make a good, wise, or mature decision. She’s always whiny, she’s boring, and we hate that she has so much potential to be a total winner but the writers refuse to let that happen. Get with the program writers. She’s got what it takes, but you guys are making the entire fanbase of the show dislike her as a result of your lack of enthusiasm for her. We have to wonder; is she good enough for you guys? If she is, can you make her good enough for us, too, please?
Arturo
So….here it goes. Why did he come here? What was his situation for to begin with? Why did he show up? Why did he do what he did? What kind of man sleeps with his brother’s wife, then shows up to follow his brother to make things right, falls madly in love with Abby, then sleeps with his brother’s wife again when they renew their vows, cheats on his new fiancé, and then runs off out of nowhere with her while she’s still married to his brother and pregnant with a baby that could belong to either of them. Then, he shows back up at his sister’s wedding, apologizes to Abby, and actually wants to see her forgive him. What was his purpose on the show other than to show up and be a total loser? We cannot figure that one out, and we aren’t sure that we will ever know the truth to this one. But, we can assume he will be someone we never want to see again.
Tessa
We don’t get her. Is that even a thing? We cannot figure out what she’s doing here, why she is here, and what she is doing on the show. She is a girl who has nothing to offer but trouble for Mariah. We think Mariah can do so much better. She’s funny. She’s witty. She’s smart. She takes care of her mother, because we all know her mother cannot take care of herself, to be quite honest. But she’s not with this girl for anything other than the trouble she causes, and she cannot even see it. Tessa is not as into Mariah as Mariah is into her. She’s got a sketchy background, too, but she’s not doing anything to change her life or her path. She’s continuing down her sketchy life as much as she can, and we are just sitting over here wondering if there is anything we can do to make this situation seem better. There’s not, though, and that’s a thing. We can’t figure it out, but we don’t care for her. We do not find her good enough for Mariah, and we are just big fans of Mariah. Sorry, but that’s the truth.
