Young and the Restless fans do love some of the couples in the show right now, but there are some we don’t love. There is so much love and so much stuff going on with them, but we don’t think it always works. We like some of the couples, and we don’t like others, but what we think doesn’t matter. It matters what they think and how they work. And we think that some of the couples who got together or already together in 2019 will never make it. They won’t last the rest of the year. They don’t have what it takes, and everything in their life is working against them. They have to focus on how they want to live their lives, and many of them will find that their lives are not well lived with the person they are currently dating. Here are the couples we think will never make it through the rest of this year.
Lola and Kyle
They don’t stand a chance. Sorry, but Summer is here and she is never going to let this happen. Kyle is not the man for her, and she’s too meek and boring for him. He might be infatuated with her at the moment, but there will never be a lasting marriage between them. For one, we predict they will not actually make it down the aisle. If they do, though, they will not last. He cannot have someone as boring as her to make his wife. He’s a man who likes to manipulate, scheme, and plot to get what he wants, and that’s how he will take over his father’s business. He won’t be able to do what he wants with her there to hold him back, so he will either end up with Summer or with someone who is just like her in any way she can make happen. This is something we just see coming in the near future, and we don’t regret that feeling.
Rey and Sharon
This is a couple who will never make it. For one, he has his own drama. He has a wife who slept with his brother more than once, apologized, convinced him she was good with him, and they renewed their vows just in time for her to sleep with his brother again. She’s pregnant, no one knows who the baby belongs to, and she’s skipped town with his brother. It is all ugly news that doesn’t work for any of us, and we get that. But, we also get that there is more to this than we thought we might see coming. For one, we thought that they wouldn’t make it this long. She’s got feelings for Adam, again, and Rey is not having that. She’s got feelings for Nick, too, even if those are hidden in the moment. They are a couple who got off on the wrong foot, they aren’t on the right foot, and they will never be on the right foot. We don’t love it, but it is what it is.
Chelsea and Calvin
We don’t know much about him yet, but we know her. She’s a hot mess, and she has never been anything but. She and Adam were a heck of a couple before he died, but then she decided to move on to his brother when he died. She was with him for a while before she was boring to fans and the show decided to bring her back to her old and very devious ways. We all loved it, but that was too late for us because she was already on her way out the door by then. However, she’s back now, and so is Adam. But, she’s married. She left town to get away from the trouble she was in, and she married a man we don’t know, know nothing about, and we suspect is not good for her. However, she will not make her marriage last the rest of the year. For one, we think she cannot decide if she prefers Adam to Nick or Nick to Adam, and she will find herself back with one of them before the year is over. We think that sounds fantastic, too.
