Days of Our Lives on Monday proves to be an interesting episode. It looks like there will be a number of discoveries in various households that will cause some friction among characters. For one, we already know that Andre has discovered his father’s body and that he is in trouble at the place where he found it. The building in which the body is located is an abandoned building that will be demolished in the near future. However, it appears that the building is not going to be demolished on schedule. It seems to have a plan of its own, and it collapses. Will Andre be in the building when it collapses, or will he have already made his way out? We know he’s called Chad to meet him there and that Chad is on his way, so will he get there and realize that something is wrong so he has to go in and save Andre? We don’t know what will happen, but we do believe that whatever happens to Andre, he will either make it out alive from the collapse or that he will not be injured too badly and he will make it out eventually. Whatever happens, he is certainly angry that his father is dead, and he is hellbent on making sure that Hope pays for the crime he is certain she committed.
Andre might be able to pin the murder on Hope if he is able to find any evidence, but we don’t know yet if he is or if he has any that ties her to the crime enough to actually be able to approach the police with the information. It’s not something that will come to light for the next few episodes, but he is working hard so it would not be particularly shocking if he was able to find some information that did tie her to it, or at least manufacture some on this own.
In the meantime, it looks as if Hope and Rafe are on their way out of town. Chad warned Hope that Andre is angry and looking to pin Stefano’s murder on her, and her daughter overheard. She suggested that they go away, and that they bring Chase and Rafe with. Hope says that she doesn’t want Rafe to come, but Ciara calls him anyway. They are preparing to leave town for a while, but we have no idea if they will tell anyone about it as they prepare to leave. Hope has been kissing Rafe recently, so there is clearly something there between the two of them, even though it seems as if Hope is trying to pretend that there is nothing going on.
Perhaps the biggest news we’ve been waiting on all week is the fact that Kayla is missing and no one knew about it. She was on her way to the airport to head to D.C. about the heart she gave to Brady that belonged to Daniel when she decided to stop by Ava’s hotel room and confront her. She’s been with Joey and she’s been trying to convince Steve that they had a baby together and that they need to find the baby before her cancer kills her. All the way across the board, Kayla was not happy. That’s why she worked so hard to track her down. Of course, Ava attacked her and then hid her body. On Monday, Steve will finally realize that Kayla is missing. It’s long past time for Kayla to show up, and given the fact that she has not been in contact with anyone since she left and then she does not return, it raises a huge red flag for Steve. When Steve approaches Ava, she allegedly admits what she’s done, but refuses to return Kayla unless Steve goes with her to find their son. He is in a very tight spot at the moment. Does he do it? Can he get Kayla back without doing anything for Ava? What are his options at the moment? He is not someone who is going to be very happy with this entire situation, and it seems he has some serious decisions to make in the near future.
